Sizing, simplified
The Reia pessary comes in 3 sizes. Due to its dynamic shape, the three Reia sizes cover a wide range of current pessary sizes.
In Reia’s clinical trial,
The Reia pessary had a 95% successful fitting rate.
Patients who used pessaries as small as 2” Gellhorn and as large as a size 7 ring were successfully fit with a Reia pessary.
Fitting recommendations
We recommend prescribing the smallest pessary a patient can retain.
The Reia pessary has a unique shape, so its size does not correlate exactly to other pessaries. We suggest using a smaller Reia pessary compared to what you would typically consider for a Gellhorn or ring.
