How do I know if it’s in the right place?

With the right size Reia pessary, you should feel relief from your symptoms. If you feel discomfort, like when a tampon sits too low, refer to the instructions for tips on how to place the Reia pessary in the right spot. If you feel any other discomfort, you may need a different size and should talk to your practitioner.

Does the stem stick out?

Typically, no. The stem is usually inside the body. Some people may notice the end of the pessary near the opening of their vagina. If it sits too low and causes discomfort, talk to your practitioner.

Can I have sex if I use the Reia pessary?

Yes! The Reia pessary is designed to be easy and comfortable to remove any time. We recommend removing it for penetrative sex.

How often do I remove it?

We recommend you remove it nightly if you can. It is safe to leave it in for longer, but not longer than recommended by your healthcare practitioner.

How do I find my size?

The Reia pessary comes in 3 sizes. To get fit with a Reia pessary, talk to your practitioner.

How do I get one?

The Reia pessary is prescription only, so you have to talk to your practitioner about using the Reia pessary.
